PSST Partners with KEDC in Complimentary Munis® Training

Nearly 60 K12 Finance, Payroll, HR and Benefit professionals gathered February 2 for PSST Academy Munis® Training in partnership with Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) in Lexington, Kentucky.

Hosted at the KEDC Lexington Office and Conference Center, the PSST Academy Munis® Training included

  • What’s New in Munis 11.2
  • Payroll Tips/Tricks
  • Finance Cubes
  • HR Tenure & Certification Module.

The trainings were conducted by PSST’s Chief Operating Officer Carl L. Williams, Sr. and PSST Client Success Instructors, Keith Kucler and Edris Humphrey. The day of training also featured special sessions including

  • Communicating Budget Needs
  • Finance User Group Round Table Discussion.

There were several information discussion opportunities throughout the day as well.

Ramona Gardner, KEDC Financial Consultant, who welcomed the group of K12 professionals, organized the training with PSST. Donna Fossett, American Fidelity State Sales Manager, spoke to the group during lunch, which was sponsored by the benefits solution firm.

This PSST Academy training was the second regional training offered in partnership with KEDC; a similar training was held in KEDC’s Ashland location in January.

PSST is planning a full-scale K12 Munis training conference for the fall of this year. The 2017 PSST Academy Training Summit will be held in Louisville, October 19-20.
