About Us
History of the Company

PSST, a software integration and development firm, was founded in 1990, targeting the specific needs in the government and education arena. Having broad experience in this marketplace, the company principals quickly teamed with MUNIS (formerly Computer Center Software) selling and supporting the MUNIS products within Kentucky. Experienced personnel were continually added as the company expanded across the Commonwealth of Kentucky and into other regions offering both MUNIS related services and add-on products.

Staff
PSST employees experienced, knowledgeable, user-friendly staff. Our personnel, many having over 10, some over 20 years of experience, understand the governmental accounting and payroll / personnel areas. Supporting many Kentucky school districts, as well as non-school related agencies, our staff quickly relate to the client’s needs, understanding issues and defining objects and solutions.

Relationships
PSST enjoys unique and complementary relationships with many of the industry players. Additionally, our excellent relationship with our clients provides access to senior, qualified personnel when needed for complicated or unusual circumstances.

Approach
In addition to offering MUNIS support services, PSST administers a client consortium that has a conference three times each year. During the conferences, clients share information and insight into addressing issues relative to their jobs. PSST shares information concerning new products, procedures and potential projects requested by the client base. These conferences are well attended and very useful to the MUINS users.

Integration
PSST has built a positive reputation developing solutions integrated with MUNIS. Besides teaching classes using the ODBC tools to bring MUNIS data directly into Excel, Word, Access and other applications, PSST supplies custom products meeting a wide range of client needs. Some of these integrated applications are of a generic nature such as Professional Development Tracking, or Document Management Processing, and some are very specific to client needs.
In addition to working with clients, PSST developed statewide interfaces such as the AIRUS automatic data extraction from the MUNIS database directly into the American Fidelity 125 cafeteria plan program providing timely, accurate information incautiously. Working with Ross, Sinclaire and Associated, a bonding agency, PSST developed the Tax Revenue Anticipation Notes (TRAN) automated interface. This program automatically scans, evaluates and summaries the cash flow history from the MUNIS database producing and forwarding a spreadsheet ready for the TRAN agent.In addition, pulling and finding information on substitutes for a school district is even easier thanks to the integration PSST created for the SUBFINDER system.
