What is system integration? The term System Integration may invoke different concepts depending upon the background of the reader. For PSST, the definition of the systems integrator is as follows:
· Help the Client formulate their goals
· Determine priorities
· Define specifications
· Search for software solutions to meet client’s goals
· Assist with the bidding process (if required)
· Help evaluate the responses
· Assist with software procurement
· Define software modifications
As the systems integrator, we also provide the custom software addressing the needs not covered in the “off the Shelf” application software, like MUNIS for example. In other words, we function as an extension of our client’s staff for the project duration. Our objective is to protect our client’s interests. While the need for our services may vary over time, our desire is a long-term relationship with our clients-“not just a sale”. |
